Level 2 NDT Technician - Main Duties

  • Carry out work detailed in the work pack to ensure effective & efficient inspections.
  • Highlight repairs, recommend inspection intervals to achieve legal compliance.
  • Provide necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified.
  • Record and or report the results of the non-destructive test as required on appropriate documents.
  • Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment.
  • Organise and report test results.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Skills Required

  • GCSE/Standard grade pass in English, Maths and Science or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license (Desirable)
  • Flexible approach, team player and good communication skills.
  • PCN Level 2 in ECT (Desirable)
  • PCN level 2 in MPI, DPI and UT (3.1 & 3.2)

Job Type

  • Full-time contract
  • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with time of service.
  • Competitive salary package based on level of experience.
  • Subsistence & accommodation provided on overnight travel.
  • Pension contribution.
  • Friendly working environment.

Working Hours

  • Usually Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00.
  • Working away.
  • Weekend work when required.

EEMUA/API Assessor - Main Duties
